G&L Group participated in the IBM Tech Summit 2026, one of Argentina’s leading events on technology, innovation, and digital transformation, held at the Usina del Arte in Buenos Aires. The event brought together clients, partners, and industry leaders to discuss the future of mainframes, artificial intelligence, and enterprise technology modernization.
One of the highlights of the event was the talk titled “IBM Mainframe: The Key to the Next Big Breakthrough in AI,” presented by Marcos Rivara and Cintia Scoles, who shared their insights on the strategic role of the mainframe in the evolution of artificial intelligence and the tools IBM offers to drive its integration with the cloud and the rest of the technology ecosystem.
In addition, our mainframe specialists, Romina Herrera and Franco Astorga, shared their experience with a successful migration from a Z10 to a Z15 server, offering a practical perspective on the challenges and opportunities associated with mainframe platform modernization.
