Senior Python Developer

We are looking to hire a Senior Python Developer to join our team and participate in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable solutions based on cloud architectures, contributing to medium- and high-complexity projects with a focus on quality, performance, and operational continuity.

Disqualifying requirements:

• Experience with JavaScript and Python focused on developing Lambdas for ETL processes.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud platforms and their main services: Lambda, S3, Glue, EKS, and Athena.
• Experience with frameworks and libraries such as Pandas, Boto3, Polars, and PySpark.
• Expertise in microservices, distributed architectures, databases (Aurora, DynamoDB), caching systems, message brokers, logging, and observability.
• Security knowledge: Hashing, encryption, authentication & authorization, OAuth, JWT, OIDC, and HTTPS.
• Experience with retry handling , distributed transactions, timeouts, fault recovery, and system resilience.
• Knowledge of Git, branching strategies, CI/CD, and deployment pipeline management.
• Participation in feasibility analyses and technical estimates for medium- and high-complexity projects.
• Ability to estimate timelines and analyze technical impacts.

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of Node.js.
• General knowledge of web servers and API gateways (Nginx, Apache, AWS API Gateway, Apigee, among others).
• Previous experience at technology, fintech, or digital services companies with a focus on scalability and availability.
• Autonomy to research new technologies and propose improvements.
• Adaptability to work with different teams, requirements, and technologies.
• Experience working in an interdisciplinary setting with product, QA, infrastructure, and other teams.
• Focus on quality, efficiency, and operational continuity of the systems.
• Certifications related to the role.
• Knowledge of English or other languages.
