We are looking to hire a Senior Application Support Specialist to join our team and help monitor, analyze, and resolve incidents involving business-critical applications, ensuring their availability, performance, and operational continuity.
Disqualifying requirements:
- Experience in incident analysis and reviewing logs for both applications and infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Elastic/Kibana.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Knowledge of web applications.
- Proficiency in using application monitoring and analysis tools such as Zabbix, Dynatrace, Grafana, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Jira.
- Experience with incident management and tracking tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of AIX/Linux environments, including SWIFT platforms.
Preferred qualifications:
- Conceptual understanding of WAS and portal architectures (IHS, WebSphere, Nginx).
- Knowledge of Oracle and/or DB2 database engines.
- Knowledge of Control-M.
- Programming skills in Java and .NET for enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of APIs and microservices.
- Basic Knowledge of Mainframes.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Related college or post-secondary education.
- Certifications related to the role.
- Knowledge of English.
